Instructions
Divide 6 cups of Chex cereal into two bowls: 3 cups each.
In a separate bowl, mix together strawberry cake mix and powdered sugar. Set aside.
Melt red candy melts in the microwave at 50% power in 1-minute intervals, stirring until smooth.
Pour melted red candy over one bowl of Chex. Stir gently to coat evenly.
Transfer red-coated cereal to a large ziplock bag, add half of the cake mix mixture, and shake to coat. Spread on parchment paper to cool.
Repeat the same steps with white candy melts and the remaining 3 cups of cereal. Coat with the remaining powdered sugar mix.
Once both batches are cooled, mix together in a large bowl with Valentine M&Ms and sprinkles.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
Notes
This is a fun no-bake treat that’s perfect for kids to help with (just supervise the melting step). Make ahead for easy party prep or gifting.
