  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the can of cream of mushroom soup to the beef and stir to combine.
  • Incorporate the frozen mixed vegetables into the beef and soup mixture, stirring until evenly distributed.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish, smoothing the top.

Assembly & Cooking

  • Layer the tater tots on top of the beef mixture in a single, even layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the beef is browned well and that you use a single layer of tater tots for optimal crispness. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving to improve structure.
