Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to a suitable temperature.
  • Grease your baking dish lightly with nonstick spray or oil.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish in a single layer.
  • Pat each breast dry with a paper towel.
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning evenly over the chicken, rubbing it in gently.
  • Prepare your pepper by coring and dicing it into small pieces, then scatter it over the seasoned chicken.
  • Drain the corn and sprinkle over the chicken and pepper.
  • Drain and rinse the black beans, adding them to the dish.
  • Pour the salsa generously over everything in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake until the chicken reaches a safe internal temperature.
