Preparation

  • Drain the corn thoroughly to reduce excess liquid. Finely chop the jalapeño to your desired level of spiciness.
  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained corn, cream cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, and minced jalapeño.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

Cooking

  • Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker, spreading it evenly.
  • Cover with the lid and set the slow cooker to low heat. Cook for about 2 hours.

Finishing
