Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker in a single layer.
  • Pour the buffalo wing sauce over the chicken breasts, making sure they are generously coated.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook for 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  • Stir well to coat all the shredded chicken in the buffalo sauce.
  • Prepare the slider buns, toasting them if desired.

Assembly

  • Assemble the sliders by placing a portion of buffalo chicken onto each bun.
  • Add more buffalo sauce if desired and optionally top with Ranch dressing.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and cilantro.

Notes

For best flavor, let the chicken marinate in buffalo sauce overnight. Store leftover chicken separate from buns to prevent sogginess.
