Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by adding all the ingredients except the cream cheese and cilantro into the slow cooker. Make sure everything is evenly distributed.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.

Post Cooking

  • Once cooking time is complete, remove the lid carefully. Use tongs to lift the chicken breasts out and let them rest briefly.
  • Shred the chicken into small pieces and return it to the slow cooker.
  • Add chopped cilantro and cream cheese, stirring until well combined.

Serving

  • Serve hot with favorite toppings such as sour cream, shredded cheese, or crushed tortilla chips.

Notes

For best results, drain and rinse beans properly. Adjust sauce for heat preference and consider using quality chicken stock for enhanced flavor.
