  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to an even thickness (ensures even cooking)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (for moisture and flavor)
  • 1-2 teaspoons 21 Salute Seasoning or poultry seasoning (adds balanced flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste, enhances overall flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or to taste, adds warmth)
  • ½ cup white wine or chicken broth (helps create a savory sauce)

For the Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (or more if you want extra sauce, adds richness and depth)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely minced (or to taste, provides aromatic flavor)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley (optional for garnishing, adds color and freshness)

Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers slightly.
  • Season the chicken breasts with 21 Salute Seasoning, kosher salt, and black pepper on both sides.
  • Carefully place the seasoned chicken in the skillet and cook without moving for several minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken breasts and cook the other side until also golden and cooked through.
  • Reduce heat slightly, pour in white wine or chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits.
  • Add unsalted butter and minced garlic, stirring until the butter melts and integrates into the sauce.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over to coat well.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot with sauce drizzled over.

Notes

Leftovers can be reheated and are perfect for lunch. Store any remaining chicken in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
