  • 2 lbs Chicken tenders, thighs, or breast for tender texture
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil adds moisture and richness
  • 1 stick Butter creates a smooth sauce
  • 8-10 cloves Garlic, minced provides robust flavor
  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce adds a bit of heat
  • 2 teaspoons Red pepper flakes for spice
  • 1/3 cup Fresh parsley, minced freshness and color
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated for savory depth
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika for flavor and color
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder enhances garlic flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder adds sweetness
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt for seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper for mild heat

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by soaking the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cut the chicken into 3-inch pieces and place them in a large bowl.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken and sprinkle the seasoning mixture on top. Toss gently until coated.
  • Pack the chicken pieces tightly onto the soaked skewers.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and minced garlic, then heat until the butter is partially melted. Stir together.
  • Stir in the red pepper flakes, hot sauce, minced parsley, and grated Parmesan into the garlic butter mixture.

Cooking

  • Place 2-3 skewers in the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Flip the skewers, baste with reserved sauce, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Flip again, baste with more sauce, and cook for another 5-6 minutes.
  • Once done, serve warm, drizzled with the remaining garlic sauce and extra Parmesan.

Notes

For best results, soak skewers longer than 30 minutes and monitor closely in the air fryer to avoid overcooking.
