Preparation

  • Start by preparing the chicken breast. Cut it into strips, ensuring they are even in size for uniform cooking.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 10-15 minutes to prevent burning while cooking.
  • In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey to create a marinade.
  • Add the sliced chicken strips to the marinade, ensuring they are completely covered. Let them soak for flavor enhancement.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or stovetop pan before adding the chicken.
  • Carefully skewer the marinated chicken strips onto the skewers, leaving space between pieces for even cooking.
  • Place the skewers on the grill or pan, cooking until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
  • While the chicken is cooking, prepare the fresh veggies: rinse and dry the lettuce, shred the cabbage, and julienne the carrots.
