Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • chopped parsley optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and slice them in half lengthwise to create thinner pieces for quicker cooking.

  • Rub the seasoning mix evenly on both sides of the chicken.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with a bit more olive oil.
  • Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Pound chicken to even thickness for best results. Don’t skip the resting step — it keeps the meat juicy. For added richness, deglaze the pan with a splash of broth or wine before serving.
