Icing Base

  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter smooth texture
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened adds richness
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar sweetness and structure
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt enhances flavor

Flavor Enhancers

  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream provides moisture
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract adds depth of flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the softened unsalted butter in a mixing bowl and beat it until creamy and light in color.
  • Add the creamy peanut butter to the whipped butter and mix until smooth and even.
  • Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition to prevent lumps.
  • Once the sugar is mixed in, add the salt and blend until it is fully incorporated.
  • Pour in the milk or cream and vanilla extract, starting on low speed, then increase speed until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust flavors as needed before use.

Notes

Store leftover icing in an airtight container. You can also freeze it for up to three months and rewhip it before use.
