Instructions
 

Cooking the Bacon

  • Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towel.

Cooking the Chicken

  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a light dusting of flour, then cook in the bacon fat until golden brown and no longer pink.

Sautéing Garlic

  • Add minced garlic to the pot, stirring for about a minute until aromatic.

Add Broth

  • Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the browned bits from the pot, allowing it to simmer.

Incorporate Cream

  • Slowly stir in the heavy cream and let it thicken, stirring to prevent sticking.

Cook Pasta

  • Add uncooked penne and chopped tomatoes, ensuring pasta is submerged in the creamy mixture.

Simmer

  • Cover and let simmer according to pasta package instructions, stirring occasionally.

Finish the Dish

  • Once pasta is al dente, fold in sliced chicken and crumbled bacon, then sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top and stir until melted.
