  • 1 medium Onion Chopped.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For coating and flavor.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Adds depth to the bake.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 cup Cheese Mozzarella or cheddar for creaminess.
  • 1 loaf Baguette or sourdough For serving, optional.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Chop the onion and garlic.
  • Drizzle olive oil in a large baking dish or oven-safe skillet, coating the bottom.
  • Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté for a few minutes until onion is translucent.
  • Slice the chicken sausage and add to the dish, stirring until the sausage begins to brown.
  • Drain and rinse the white beans, then gently stir them into the mixture.
  • Add chopped kale and mix well.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and mixed herbs; stir to evenly distribute.
  • Pour in chicken broth and mix all ingredients well.
  • Top with cheese, spreading it evenly over the mixture.

Baking

  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Serve hot, optionally with crusty bread. Consider storing leftovers for lunch or as a warm snack.
