  • 1 cup vegetable broth for steaming moisture

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Carefully separate the leaves from the Napa cabbage head, rinsing them under cool water to remove any dirt.
  • Select about a dozen large, pliable leaves and set them aside on a clean kitchen towel to dry.

Mix Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled tofu, mixed vegetables, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Gently mix everything using a spatula or your hands to ensure even distribution of ingredients without breaking apart the tofu too much.

Assemble Rolls

  • Take a Napa cabbage leaf and place a generous spoonful of the filling towards the bottom.
  • Fold the sides inward, then roll up tightly from the bottom to the top.
  • Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.

Steam Rolls

  • Prepare a large pot with vegetable broth at the bottom and place a steamer basket inside.
  • Arrange the rolls in the steamer without overcrowding, cover with a lid, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Steam for about 10-15 minutes until cabbage is tender and filling is heated.

Serve

  • Carefully transfer the cabbage rolls to a platter, drizzle with soy sauce if desired, and garnish with chopped green onions.
