Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Grease a 9×13 baking dish well, covering both the bottom and sides.
  • Evenly place the chicken pieces in the greased dish.
  • Pour water, rice, soups, and your desired amount of salt and pepper over the chicken and gently mix together.
  • Top the casserole evenly with the pats of butter.
  • Place the dish in the middle rack of the oven and bake uncovered for 60 to 75 minutes.
  • Once finished baking, remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool for approximately 15 minutes before serving.
