  • 750 g boneless skinless chicken thigh fillets tender meat
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme herbaceous aroma
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary earthy flavor
  • 1 tsp garlic powder strong garlic flavor
  • 1 tsp onion powder savory sweetness
  • 1/2 tsp cracked pepper adds spice
  • 1 tsp salt enhances flavor

Cooking ingredients

  • 4 tbsp olive oil provides moisture
  • 30 g salted butter richness and flavor
  • 4 cloves garlic, roughly chopped fresh garlic flavor
  • 250 g button mushrooms, sliced meaty texture
  • 1 cup chicken stock depth of flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream creamy consistency
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese sharp, nutty flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken thighs with salt, cracked pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and place the seasoned chicken thighs in the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side without moving them.
  • Flip the thighs and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes until cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet, allowing it to rest on a plate.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and chopped garlic, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes until they soften.
  • Pour in the chicken stock and let simmer for a few minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese to create a creamy sauce.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and let them simmer in the sauce for a couple of minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning before serving and enjoy the chicken covered in the creamy sauce, garnished with extra parmesan.

Notes

For best results, ensure skillet is hot before adding chicken and let chicken rest after cooking. Adjust garlic and seasoning to taste.
