  • 1 teaspoon onion powder savory depth
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper seasoning
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon lemon slices for garnish brightness
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock moisture
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (Sriracha) spicy kick
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red chili pepper flakes optional, added heat
  • 1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley freshness

Preparation

  • Begin by heating a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken thighs with paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the hot skillet and let it melt. Once melted, add the seasoned chicken thighs and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and once melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté gently for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn bright green and are just tender.
  • Pour chicken stock into the skillet with lemon juice and hot sauce. Stir everything together and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet; let everything cook together for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

Ensure your skillet is adequately heated for a nice sear and use fresh garlic for the best flavor. Adjust hot sauce based on spice preference.
