Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch using a meat mallet.
  • In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, and mix until smooth.
  • Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle optional paprika or Italian seasoning on top.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken uncovered for 35–45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden brown.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure chicken breasts are pounded evenly for consistent cooking. Allow resting after baking to maintain moisture.
