Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, place the boneless, skinless chicken thighs in a single layer. Heat over medium-high heat until golden-brown, approximately 5-7 minutes per side.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated fresh ginger.

Simmering

  • Once the chicken is golden-brown, pour the sauce over the thighs in the skillet. Reduce heat to medium and let it simmer, stirring occasionally.

Thickening the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water until smooth. Stir this mixture into the skillet to thicken the sauce further.

Final Cooking

  • Continue to cook the chicken in the thickened sauce for an additional 3-5 minutes until cooked through.

Garnishing

  • Remove the skillet from heat and optionally sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the chicken.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice or a colorful vegetable stir-fry. For breakfast, pair leftovers with scrambled eggs.
