Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • Begin by heating the extra-virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the cubed chicken breasts to the skillet in a single layer.
  • Season the chicken with salt and black pepper to taste.

Making the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix together honey, low-sodium soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  • Pour the honey-soy-garlic mixture over the cooked chicken in the skillet.
  • If you're using red pepper flakes, sprinkle them in now.

Finishing Touches

  • Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for a few minutes until thickened.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and serve the honey garlic chicken on a platter.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions, chopped parsley or cilantro, and chopped peanuts.
  • Provide lime wedges and Sriracha on the side.

Notes
