Preparation

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel, then season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic, stirring well to ensure the honey dissolves.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and cook undisturbed for 6-7 minutes or until golden-brown.
  • Flip the chicken over and pour the honey garlic mixture over it, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Continue cooking for another 6-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  • Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve the chicken drizzled with the glaze and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
