Equipment

  • Skillet or Frying Pan

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced or crushed
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce or use dark in smaller amounts
  • 1 tbsp oil canola or olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Optional Garnish

  • 1 lemon sliced or juiced, optional
  • fresh parsley optional

Instructions

  • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken on one side until golden, about 4–5 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken and cook the other side until nearly done, reducing heat if needed.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, and soy sauce. Pour into pan with chicken.
  • Let the sauce bubble and thicken, flipping chicken to coat until it’s cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
  • Optional: Add lemon juice or sprinkle with parsley before serving. Serve with rice, veggies, or bread.

Notes

Double the sauce if you love extra drizzle. Avoid high heat once honey goes in—burnt honey is bitter. Works great with noodles or mashed potatoes too. Make it spicy with chili flakes or sriracha!
