Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by preparing the chicken breast. Cut it into 1-inch cubes for more even cooking.
  • If desired, sprinkle the chicken pieces with cornstarch and season with Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken, sear for a few minutes until golden brown.
  • Add the unsalted butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir as the butter melts to infuse the chicken with garlic flavor.
  • Pour in the honey and low-sodium chicken stock. Stir to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Add the lemon juice and optional hot sauce. Simmer slightly to thicken the sauce.
  • Once thickened, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serving

  • Plate the chicken bites and garnish with red chili pepper flakes and chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for at least 15 minutes for enhanced flavor. Use fresh garlic for the best taste, and adjust the honey for your preferred sweetness.
