  • Sprinkle flour over the butter mixture and whisk until slightly pasty.

Cooking

  • Gradually pour in the milk while whisking until smooth.
  • Stir in salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and the cheeses until fully combined.
  • Layer thinly sliced potatoes over the chicken in the baking dish.
  • Pour the creamy cheese sauce over the potatoes and chicken, ensuring everything is covered.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven.
  • After initial baking time, remove the foil and continue baking until top is golden and bubbly.

Notes
