  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1–2 tsp herbs thyme, oregano, rosemary, or Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and herbs of choice.
  • Layer chopped onions, garlic, or vegetables in the bottom of the crock pot.
  • Place chicken on top of the base layer. Add broth or desired sauce until chicken is halfway submerged.
  • Cover with lid. Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, or until internal temp reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Shred the chicken directly in the pot for tacos or bowls, or slice and serve with vegetables or grains.
