Preparation

  • Start by preparing your ingredients. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté them gently for 3-5 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts into the skillet, cooking for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the chicken over and pour in the heavy cream. Lower the heat slightly and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Check the chicken for doneness; it should be cooked through with no pink visible. The sauce should be thickened.
  • Once the chicken is done cooking, remove it from the heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • Serve the chicken on a platter, pouring the creamy sauce over the top and garnishing with fresh parsley.
