Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined Firm texture
  • 1/4 cup olive oil Adds moisture
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice Provides acidity
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Aromatic flavor
  • 1 tbsp honey Adds sweetness
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika Offers depth
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper Adjust to taste for heat
  • Salt and pepper to taste Enhances overall flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, honey, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until well blended.
  • Add the peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp to the marinade and gently toss until well coated.
  • Allow the shrimp to soak in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  • If using skewers, thread the marinated shrimp onto them with space between each shrimp.
  • Place the shrimp on the grill and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are opaque and have nice grill marks.
  • Remove the shrimp from heat and let them rest for a few moments before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, grill some lemon halves alongside the shrimp for squeezing over before serving. Store grilled shrimp in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
