  • chopped cilantro, to serve for fresh flavor
  • sesame seeds, to serve for texture and crunch

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by preparing the chicken. Dice the chicken breasts into small, even pieces to ensure they cook uniformly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced chicken with hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated with the marinade.

Grilling the Chicken

  • Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. This ensures the chicken sears nicely and develops a pleasant char.
  • Carefully place the marinated chicken in a single layer on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

Preparing the Slaw

  • In a separate mixing bowl, combine the bag of coleslaw with green onions and sesame oil. Drizzle in rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Toss everything together gently.

Wonton Wrappers

  • Lightly brush the wonton wrappers with oil and grill or sauté them until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Place the grilled chicken on a platter alongside the slaw and crispy wonton wrappers.
  • Drizzle with sweet chili sauce, and garnish with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds.

Notes

Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavor. Adjust the sweetness in the slaw by adding more honey if desired.
