- 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- ½ cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional, for glaze
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and water.
Place chicken in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 24 hours).
