  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breast halves 1½–2 lbs total, serves as the main protein
  • Neutral oil (canola or vegetable) for greasing the grill, prevents sticking

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, and optionally, the basil. Whisk these ingredients together until they are well blended.
  • Add the sea salt and ground black pepper to the bowl and stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution throughout the marinade.
  • Place the chicken breast halves in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to several hours.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. While waiting, remove the chicken from the marinade, shaking off any excess liquid.
  • Lightly grease the grill with neutral oil. Place the chicken breasts on the grill surface, allowing them to sear without moving for about 6-7 minutes.
  • After 6-7 minutes, flip the chicken breasts over using tongs. Continue grilling for another 6-7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F).
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
