For the chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts lean protein

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, fresh parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bowl with the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated.
  • Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  • Once hot, take the marinated chicken breasts out of the refrigerator and place them on the grill.
  • Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
  • Carefully flip the chicken breasts over using tongs and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes on the other side.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, fully coat the chicken in the marinade and let it rest after grilling. Use a meat thermometer to ensure it is cooked to a safe temperature and marinate longer if possible.
