Preparation

  • Begin by preparing the chicken. Cut the boneless skinless chicken breasts into 1 1/4-inch pieces, ensuring they are uniform in size for even cooking.
  • Place the chicken pieces in a mixing bowl and season them with salt, freshly ground black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Sprinkle the all-purpose flour over the seasoned chicken pieces and toss gently to ensure even coating.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat the tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the floured chicken pieces to the skillet in a single layer and cook undisturbed until golden-brown.
  • Flip the pieces over to allow the other side to cook as well.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the skillet and stir gently as it melts, mixing with the chicken.
  • Add the minced fresh garlic to the skillet with the chicken and cook for an additional minute, stirring gently.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the remaining tablespoon of unsalted butter and chopped parsley, then toss gently to combine before serving.

Notes

For best results, cut chicken into uniform sizes and don't overcrowd the skillet. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
