Preparation

  • Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, salt, and black pepper over the chicken, rubbing the seasonings into the chicken.
  • Pour the prepared Alfredo sauce and chicken broth into the slow cooker, gently stirring to combine.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • Remove the chicken, shred it with forks, and return to the pot.
  • Stir in the cheese tortellini and frozen peas, mixing gently.
  • Cover and cook on high for an additional 20-30 minutes until the tortellini is tender.
  • Once ready, stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  • Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
