Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika smoked or sweet
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and rub garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper evenly over both sides.
  • For baking: place chicken on a lined sheet pan and bake 20–22 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • For stovetop: heat oil in a skillet and sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  • Remove chicken and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing or shredding to keep it juicy.

Notes

Shred leftovers for tacos, pasta, or salads. Swap chicken breasts with boneless thighs for more richness, or add lemon zest and fresh herbs for brightness. Cooked chicken freezes well for future quick meals.
