Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Spread apple pie filling evenly in the prepared dish. Sprinkle cinnamon on top, if using.
Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix evenly over the filling. Do not stir.
Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much of the surface as possible.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown on top and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or caramel drizzle.
Notes
Great served with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or caramel sauce. Spice cake mix or butter pecan mix can be used instead of yellow for variety.
