Ingredients
  

Basic Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Optional Flavor Boosters

  • onion powder optional
  • dried thyme optional
  • cayenne pepper optional, for heat
  • lemon juice to finish

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and coat evenly. Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket. Leave space between them for proper air circulation.
  • Cook for 12 minutes, flip the thighs, and cook another 10–12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a BBQ twist, brush thighs with sauce halfway through cooking. For a lemon-garlic version, add zest and juice before cooking and finish with parsley. Reduce cook time by 5 minutes for boneless thighs.
