  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce sweet and savory glaze
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks optional, for sweetness and moisture
  • 2 cups cooked rice or noodles base for the dish
  • to taste chopped green onions for garnish, optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the four boneless, skinless chicken breasts into the bottom of your crockpot, ensuring they are laid flat.
  • Add the optional pineapple chunks on top of the chicken if using.
  • Pour one cup of teriyaki sauce evenly over the chicken breasts.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot with a lid and set it to low heat, cooking for 6-7 hours.

  • Return the sliced or shredded chicken to the crockpot and mix well with the sauce.
  • Prepare your cooked rice or noodles as per package instructions, then serve with teriyaki chicken on top.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Sear chicken for deeper flavor, stir the sauce halfway, adding vegetables for nutrition, and ensure to use low-sodium teriyaki if needed.
