  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove moisture and help the skin crisp up.
  • Rub thighs with olive oil, then season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place chicken skin-side up on a lined baking sheet, spaced apart. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.

Notes

Swap smoked paprika with chili powder for a spicy version, or use melted butter instead of olive oil for a richer flavor. Boneless thighs work too — just reduce baking time.
