  • Begin by placing the three boneless skinless chicken breasts directly into your crock pot. Make sure they are laid out flat.
  • Sprinkle the chili powder, cumin, garlic salt, salt, and pepper evenly over the chicken.
  • Add the bunch of chopped cilantro on top of the chicken.
  • Pour the tomato sauce over the chicken and spices in the crock pot, spreading it evenly.

Cooking

  • Set the crock pot to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Once done, shred the chicken directly in the pot using two forks and stir back into the sauce.
