Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, plain bread crumbs, ranch seasoning mix, smashed and minced garlic, finely diced onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until everything is fully incorporated.
  • Form the mixture into patties of your desired size, ensuring they are uniform in thickness for even cooking.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. To test if the oil is ready, drop in a small piece of the chicken mixture; if it sizzles, it’s ready.
  • Place the patties in the skillet without overcrowding. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  • Flip each patty using a spatula and cook for another 4-5 minutes on the other side until fully browned and cooked through.
  • Transfer cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Assembly

  • Assemble the patties in burger buns or sandwich rolls, topping with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and optional ranch dressing or cheese slices. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, ensure the mixture is well combined and avoid overcrowding the skillet. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
