  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts provides protein and texture

  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped for garnish, adds freshness

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted and starts bubbling.
  • Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes until translucent and fragrant.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute, ensuring it doesn’t brown too much.

Cooking the Chicken

  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.

Making the Sauce

  • Add the chicken broth to the skillet and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom. Simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and sour cream until well mixed.
  • Add the shredded cheese, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the sauce until everything is well combined and cheese is melted.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the creamy sauce over it. Cook together for a few more minutes.

Serving

  • Prepare the cooked rice on individual serving plates and spoon the creamy chicken over it.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure the chicken is well-browned for enhanced flavor. Adjust creamy elements to your preference and allow the sauce to thicken to your liking.
