Cooking the Chicken

  • Pour the chicken broth into a large pot and bring it to a vigorous boil.
  • Gently place the chicken tenders or chicken breast into the boiling broth.
  • Reduce heat to medium and cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (about 10 minutes).
  • Remove the chicken from the broth and transfer it to a food processor.
  • Pulse gently to shred the chicken without turning it into a paste.

Mixing the Salad

  • In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt, salt, and black pepper. Stir until fully mixed.
  • Add the shredded chicken and diced celery into the mayonnaise mixture and combine well.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the salad.
