Pudding

  • 3.5 oz Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix Large box if making full size trifle; provides creaminess and sweet vanilla flavor.
  • 2 cups Milk As per the pudding mix package instructions.

Whipped Topping

  • 8 oz Cool Whip Creates a light, airy texture.
  • a few drops Green Food Coloring Adds visual appeal.

Garnish

  • 1 cup Mint Oreos, crushed Adds crunch and minty flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Grease an 8x8 pan lightly.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely before proceeding.

Make the Pudding

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and the required amount of milk. Whisk until thickened and set aside in the refrigerator to chill.

Assemble the Trifle

  • Cut the cooled brownies into small squares or bite-sized pieces.
  • In a trifle dish, place an even layer of brownie pieces at the bottom.
  • Pour a layer of prepared vanilla pudding over the brownies, spreading it evenly.
  • Add a layer of Cool Whip over the pudding, spreading gently to avoid disturbing the layers.
  • Sprinkle crushed Mint Oreos over the Cool Whip layer.
  • Repeat the layering process until all components are used.
  • Tint any remaining Cool Whip with green food coloring and spread it on the top layer.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure brownies are completely cooled before layering to prevent sogginess. Chill the pudding thoroughly for a firmer texture.
