Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by preheating your grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the ground cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat the chicken breasts with olive oil and sprinkle the spice blend generously over the chicken.

Grilling

  • Place the seasoned chicken on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side.
  • In the final 2 minutes of grilling, spoon the salsa verde over each chicken breast.
  • Top each piece of chicken with slices of pepper jack cheese and close the grill lid for 1-2 minutes.

Serving

  • After removing the chicken from the grill, garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

Notes
