  • 1 cup Frank’s RedHot Original hot sauce Adjust amount for desired heat.
  • 1.5 blocks cream cheese (cut into cubes and softened) Ensure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 3/4 cup ranch dressing Adds tanginess and moisture.
  • 1.25 cups shredded cheddar cheese Provides flavor and richness.
  • 1.25 cups colby monterey jack cheese blend Provides mild flavor and excellent melt.
  • to taste Green onions or parsley (for garnish) Adds freshness to the dish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, combine the shredded chicken and hot sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing to the skillet. Stir until everything is heated and combined.
  • Mix in half of the shredded cheeses until evenly distributed.
  • Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese or ranch dressing. Ensure even stirring if using a slow cooker.
