  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce like Frank’s RedHot adds heat and flavor
  • 1 cup ranch dressing offers creaminess and tang
  • 2 tsp garlic powder enhances flavor
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper adds mild heat
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided adds richness and melt
  • 4 whole green onions save some to garnish, adds freshness and crunch

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until it’s smooth.
  • Blend in the buffalo sauce and ranch dressing with the cream cheese.
  • Stir in the shredded chicken, remaining cheddar cheese, green onions, and seasonings until everything is well incorporated.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Top the mixture with the remaining cup of cheddar cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until it’s bubbly and the cheese has melted.
  • Switch your oven to broil on high and broil for 1-2 minutes until golden-brown spots appear on the top.

Serving

  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
  • Serve the dip hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrots.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing. Use freshly cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken for convenience. Adjust the buffalo sauce to your taste.
