Preparing the dip

  • Begin by softening the Alouette cheese in a mixing bowl using a spatula or mixer until creamy.
  • Chop the tomatoes into small pieces, set aside, removing seeds if desired.
  • Finely chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the softened cheese.
  • Fold in the chopped tomatoes gently to integrate without losing texture.
  • Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette glaze over the mixture and stir to combine evenly.
  • Taste for seasoning, adjusting with more balsamic glaze or salt if necessary.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving dish and present it attractively.
  • Serve with pita chips, crackers, or baguette slices.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be chilled to enhance flavors. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
