Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta penne, fusilli, or any shape
  • 1 package Boursin cheese 5.2 oz, any flavor
  • 1/4 cup pasta cooking water reserved before draining
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste

Optional Add-ins

  • chili flakes optional, for heat
  • baby spinach or cherry tomatoes optional, stirred in at the end
  • cooked chicken or grilled veggies optional, for added protein

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.
  • Place Boursin cheese in a large bowl. Add the hot pasta on top and pour in a bit of reserved pasta water.
  • Toss everything together until cheese melts into a creamy sauce. Add more pasta water if needed to loosen.
  • Season with black pepper, chili flakes if desired, and toss in optional add-ins like spinach or chicken.
  • Serve warm. Garnish with lemon zest or extra herbs if you’re feeling fancy.

Notes

Use any Boursin flavor you like. To make it gluten-free, sub in GF pasta and watch your cook time. This recipe is best served fresh but reheats with a splash of milk or water.
