Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Pot for Pasta
  • Knife and Cutting Board

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts or thighs boneless, skinless

Pasta

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or rigatoni)

Sauce Base

  • 1 package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese (5.2 oz / 150 g)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter for cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic minced, optional
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk to thin sauce as needed

Finishing Touches

  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese for garnish, optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil chopped, for garnish
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and optional paprika. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and let rest before slicing.
  • Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  • In the same skillet used for chicken, add butter or olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Add Boursin cheese and stir until it melts into a creamy sauce. Thin with pasta water or cream as needed.
  • Toss drained pasta into the sauce, coating well. Top with sliced chicken, Parmesan, and fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Try adding spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition. Swap chicken for shrimp for a seafood variation.
