Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Sear chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and caramelized.
  • Reduce heat to low. Add 1/4 cup chicken broth, cover, and simmer for 7–8 minutes.
  • Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use cooked chicken in salads, wraps, pasta, or grain bowls. Baked version: Bake seasoned chicken at 400°F for 20–22 minutes. Add cream and mushrooms for a skillet sauce or grill marinated chicken for summer meals.
